Relationships are a safety issue for officers
Code4Couples® is THE resource for law enforcement relationships and relational health. Created by Cyndi Doyle, a licensed therapist and police wife, Code4Couples® educates officers and families on the psychological and relational impact, spillover from the job, and how to counter the impact. After struggling in her own relationship, Cyndi dug into the research to determine what she and her husband were never told regarding the impact of the job. It is more than shift work, chronic exposure to traumatic events, and stress.
Skills that keep an officer safe on the job, come home with them and can negatively impact relationships with family.
Code4Couples® is committed to empowering law enforcement officers, partners, and departments with the information they need to understand the psychological and relational impact of the job and create connected and resilient relationships between officers and families.
Research has shown that officers who have a happy and stable home life are safer on the job and have greater resilience!
This platform combines education, personal insights, and community resources to foster thriving connections. Code4Couples® harnesses over two decades of therapeutic expertise, research-based information and techniques, and personal experience of police life to educate and equip others with tools and insights to increase connection and communication in their relationship, positively impact their personal mental health, and increase resilience, leading to a life and relationship that is Code 4!
